Information:

When I had open studios at EFA (The Elizabeth Foundations for the Arts) one year, I had a note in the guide pamphlet which said:

GET A FREE HARTH HEART!
Stop by Harth’s Studio #711 and receive a limited edition
Harth Heart for FREE. Limited quantity available. Hurry! First come, First loved.

One heart was on display in a cake display. The edition of 100 were in ziploc bags in crates. When people stopped by my art studio, I offered them a Harth Heart for free. 50 of 100 hearts were taken.

A note about the animals: No sheep were intentionally harmed for this art work. To quote the source of where I originally got the preserved cats from: “Preserved sheep materials is a byproduct of the food industry. Sheep are not raised specifically for dissection. These animals are 'recycled' for educational use.”
